Internet tells me that a UK 10 is approx a US 8, does that seem right to you?

I looked up the brands sizing chart and they convert it to a US 6. According to their chart the sizing is as follows: Bust 36-38 inch and Waist 28 inch. The dress is very stretchy and does fit larger messurements but it didn't look good on me and I have a 30-31 inch waist. I hope this helped.
